Leafcutter bee Colony?

For the third year running I have colony? of leafcutter bees visiting my patio. They have taken up residence in an interesting old pottery "Patented seltzer" which has a weakly fushia in it, struggling to survive in very shallow soil as the tall container is mostly full of filter and leaves! The first year it was just one bee, taking circles of leaf down a hole at the edge of the pot, excavating earth out the very round hole. We put the pot in the garage to overwinter and was fascinated when 5 holes appeared with busy bees. This year we have 9 holes andt hough not all are full,I love to watch several return in the sunshine, so industrious. My question is where do I go from here as at this rate we will need an extention! and how best can I care for my friends in ther best interests? Getting back into agility?

Last summer, I did some agility with my sheltie. Not very much, just a ring of jumps he would do. They were mostly 2-by-4s propped up on cinder blocks, not real jumps. i live in la mesa/spring valley, go to school up in claimant and i need a nice clean boarding stable for my thoroughbred. Im getting a new horse and will not be boarding him at the place im at now. Need Help Deleting Spyware Protect 2009?

Lemme tell you what happened. Today I was just like watching youtube videos when suddenly some pop-ups came up about my computer being affected and crap, and there was a spyware protect 2009 on and stay unprotected on. I didn't want to activate it or like buy it, so I just clicked the stay unprotected on, hoping that it won't pop up again. But now like it keeps popping up every like few minutes and it is really getting annoying. Also on the on right corner of my computer there is a rectangle that keeps popping up like every few seconds after closing it saying like spyware protect 2009 alert and then it gives me like details about something, and I know I shouldn't really care about it, or at least that's what like I read somewhere when I was trying to delete it. Anyway I was trying to delete it on the add or remove program, but it seems it isn't there. I checked under the "s" section and I scrolled down trying to find it, but I can't find it. I mean I might be looking carelessly, but I still looked pretty hard for it. Oh, and I don't know if this helps but this is what the icon looks like. Well, I can't find the image on google, but the spyware protection 2009 icon that's in my task bar looks like a shield that has a diagonal blue stripe, then a white diagonal stripe, then another diagonal blue stripe. Also I had Windows Live OneCare, but it was just a trial, and the trial is up. I mean the icon is still there, but you know the trial is up so it doesn't really matter.

Well theres this guy in my cl at college. We get on brilliantly, and after college we sometimes go into town, or even just hang around the train station for an hour or so. When we got to the train station, my train was due, so that was it , we both went home. He runs away to the neighbors house. He tells me he always stops and looks both ways across the street. Fortunately it is not a busy street. He is also somewhat of a daredevil: climbing trees and jumping out, tries to jump his bike off dirt hills, tries to climb on the roof of the house. He has ADHD and ODD. Hi, I am 38 years old. i have been suffering from chronic pain for about the last 10 years. It started with a dull ache in my low back and right hip. it has slowly progressed over the last few years to effect my entire body. i have seen many specialists and other doctors. i currently see a pain management specialist who gives me epidurals and meds to make the pain tolerable. i have had many tests including ct scans, MRIs, lab work, etc. I do have a bulging disc in lumbar spine (l5-s1). one doctor even told me that i had fibromyalgia and medicated me with lyrica, flexaril and antidepressants. this was ineffective in the pain control. later the doctor told me i didn't have fibromyalgia but she didn't know what i had. things that i have been tested for that have been ruled out, Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and various other autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, and thyroid issues. the only other health issues that i currently have are hypertension and hypokalemia (caused by diuretic use to treat hypertension). to describe the pain is hard. it is constant most of the time although the intensity does change. most significant areas of pain are low back, hips, knees, the entire right leg, both shoulders and neck. i have decreased flexibility and mobility. the pain does interfere with my daily activities. most of the time it is just a nagging ache but other times i can't hardly function. methods i have tried to aleviate the pain include chiropratic adjustments, physical therapy, mage, exercise (yoga, tiachi, pilates), traction, epidurals, cortisone injections, heat, ice, accupuncture and many, many meds including antidepressants, anticonvulsants, muscle relaxers, anti-inflamatory, gesics (narcotic and non narcotic). i have sleep issues r/t the pain. i have had a sleep study. i have purchased a new mattress with no significant change in pain or sleep quality. is there anything that i haven't thought of? is there something my doctor is missing? what have other chronic pain sufferers done to cope? it is draining me physically and mentally. my husband is very supportive but it wears on him to. it is not fair for him or my children to have to stop doing things they like to do because my pain interferes with the activities. i am desperate for answers or ideas. i will try anything. thank you for reading.

Hello...My Mom is 74 and has been suffering from depression, anxiety and OCD for many many years. She finally is realizing that she is a hoarder and is willing to go for help(not till 2/9). She has been having alot of anxiety. She called me today and stated she asked my brother to come shovel and he stated she should call the neighbor and other stuff. She usually takes everything we say and turns it in to something bad and hurtful. Then she gets so mad and upset, crying and states she wants nothing to do with him or me in some issues. She is very hard to talk to about these subjects she gets so upset and then she will usually hang up on you or scream at you and we get no where. Any advise. She will be seeing a psychiatrist on 2/9 and eventually a psycholigist. Only bad thing is she suffers from Seizures and can not take alot of the medication for depression and etc. because they can cause Seizures. I just want her to be happier.

I sent letter to my facpllate company asking them to send me my original pdf's. I had a friend once who had pain exactly like you are describing and they did exploratory surgery cause it got to the point where no one could figure it out. they had tested her many times for appendicitis and the tests always came back negative, but during the exploratory surgery they took the appendix out, she woke up and the pain was completely gone. They ended up testing the appendix for inflammation and it was apparently very inflamed..Maybe this is the case for you, were it doesn't seem like it is appendicitis, but it actually is..

Im turning my leased vehicle in at the end of June so im starting my search for another vehicle. Id prefer to buy a used vehicle this time. I live in Wisconsin and we have some horrible winters so id prefer something AWD but I think now a days with stability control id be willing to look at some FWD and RWD cars. In your opinion which of these would be good or best in the snow. Have good legroom, and a comfortable ride but still sort of have that Subaru sport feel to it when im taking my corners and stuff. WOW! I always thought it was just my generation that was apparently "screwed up". I never thought back much further than the 20th century. These are great, wherever did you find them? So these quotes prove that as each generation pes on and a new one takes place, in general, the newer one usually has it much easier and has much more freedom as technology is developed more and more each year and makes life easier for us. I know I have it much easier nowadays then my parents did, and DEFINITELY more easier then my gran had it when she was 15. I think each older generation always feels a little jealous of the younger generation after it, and are always a little prejudiced about that. They usually over react about these things. I don't think my generation is going to the dogs. We certainly may appear more lazy then the previous generation because we have less things to do then them. Almost every household has a dishwasher and washer and dryer, and we have cars and buses and do not need to walk as often to places. We have better education offered to us and do not need to go to work as young as our parents did, or work as hard. They probably view a job working at Tim Horton's or McDonald's selling food, or stocking shelves at Canadian Tire as easy compared to what they had to do. We probably do act ungrateful compared to what the generations before us had to go through, but so did my parents too I think when they were our age. It bugs me when people say that we are all ungrateful, selfish and lazy and do not care about education. Just today I did the dishwasher and cleaned my room, fed the cat and changed the litter box in the morning without being asked. I am involved in two different sports (figure skating and synchronized skating) which I am involved in for about 12 hours a week. The Canadian Health Industry says that teens should be active for about 3 and a half hours a week. I do almost four times this much, and when I was younger I also played soccer on top of these two sports, and even swimming lessons (although my swimming lessons ended when I was in grade four, soccer in grade six). I have always been involved in sports since I was five years old, and so has my sister. Adults seem to like me and I have many friends and a few close friends. I do not find myself lazy, and I have never been in any trouble, at school or with the law, and I have never done anything to get in trouble. I do not drink regularly (I have sips at thanksgiving, christmas and easter, my parents let me) and I have never had (of any type) or been in a serious relationship. I don't think I'm ungrateful. All the time I find myself thinking about how much easier I have it nowadays. Me and my family and my friend were in Disney land this summer, watching the fireworks at Epcot, and there was no one on a nearby bench, so me and my friend walked over to stand on it so we could see the fireworks. An elderly lady who must of been about 55-60 years old walked up to me and muttered "s'cuse me" without looking at me. Thinking she must have left something on the bench, I said "sorry" and stepped down. Then she stood up and took my place. Then her friend stepped up on the bench between her and my friend and edged towards the end, shoving my friend off without saying anything. My friend gave me a wierd look and stepped off. We gave up the bench and walked away to my older sister, her boyfriend and my parents. I told them about the ladies and they agreed that that was very rude and my older sister told my friend that she should of stood her ground on the bench. According to everyone the previous generations should be much better behaved then us, so why do they treat us (or at least my generation) like dirt? If those ladies had wanted to sit down on the bench and asked us instead of shoving us off the bench, we would of stepped down, no problem, but they weren't even using the bench to sit on, and they were both taller then us! I'm sorry, but I was brought up to understand this behavior as being rude. I think you are right, every generation over reacts about the one after it. Then again, you can't really believe me. I've read the whole Twilight saga. I was mortified with the first movie. I thought it was horrible. But then again I'm a highly ytical person so I was looking at the movie from a really skeptical point of view. But I went to New Moon with my guard let down a little bit. If I was more alert I would definitely say that this movie was atrocious but I allowed myself to ignore the technicalities and surprisingly, I enjoyed it!! I still think Robert Pattinson, while handsome, is not a very good actor in this movie... but I loved the chemistry between Kristen and Taylor. The mood of the whole movie (thanks to an AWESOME soundtrack!) was amazing. the visuals were stunning. I loved the actors who played the Volturi. Ok to start off, I have never been formally diagnosed with asthma, but asfter reading symtoms online I think I have it. Last night, I felt like I couldnt breathe, my throat was tight, and kept coughing. Eventually I just chilled out and the feeling went away. But two hours later it was back with full force, and i went crazy. I kept pacing around my house, taking MANY deep breaths, coughing, gagging, tight throat, crying, rapid heartbeat, and trying to listen for weird sounds from my lungs. I only heard what sounded like a wheeze twice, and some weird gurgling sounds. The allergist prescribed me an inhaler for allergies acting up so I took that, and felt better. Today, the right side of my back hurts, and my right arm hurts. What was this, and am I gonna die? I do have anxiety, so I feel like its all in my mind, and everyone thinks im crazy.

I agree with Anna you should be happy that you have a good enough relationship with your daughter that she has confided in you to share this with you. You may not want to hear this but she is an adult entitled to make her own decisions. This is not about you nor is it about your ability to be a parent. Instead this is about her and her choice. Living this type of life has no impact on her ability to have a career or have a family. If this is the life she has chosen for herself then she will accept the consequences of that decision. The best thing you can do, in this situation, is to be supportive of your daughter and not be judgmental. I believe in time you will come to accept it and it will be easier, I feel, by being accepting of the choice.

What can i eat with guacamole?

Sometimes I mix guacamole with cream cheese and shredded cheddar. It makes a really good dip for chips (obviously) or veggies. You can also put it inside of a taco instead of sour cream. Pretty much anything mexican with it would taste good. A really good breakfast idea is to take ground chorizo and brown it in a pan and then scramble some eggs in the pan with the chorizo. Take a corn tortilla and fill it with the chorizo/egg mix and then top it with some cheese and guacamole. Awesome way to start the day!

Ok so as always I decided to wait last minute to select my health care options for 2010 at work. Health insurance is so hard for me to understand. I do not visit the doctors office a lot for example i haven't gone this year. Last year I went for my yearly checkup to both my physician who had lab work done and the OBGYN for the yearly pap smear. After that i got several invoices in the mail 1 was for the lab work about 200, one for the OBGYN visit which was for 79 and then my physician is now charging me 240? I paid him $80 in the office already and all he did was take a blood sample so why is that worth an additional $240? They are telling me because it's part of the yearly deductable and that's what I DON'T understand, what is that? and if I have to pay for it then why are they taking out $88 a month from my paycheck. What I want is what i use to have before when i was covered with my mom which was, you can go to a doctor that took the insurance and it was FREE for the physician to see you, is that what an HMO is? If not what are some terms I should look at when I am making my selection to know what a doctor office visit will cost me out of pocket.

Baby lizard found in houseplant. What to feed it?

Found a baby lizard (possibly just hatched) in a houseplant. Can't identify it but it's definitely not native to these parts (North East US). Best way to care for/feed it? We've already set him up with moist soil, plants, logs, rocks and a pool of water. Added some soil from the compost heap to his makeshift home, hoping that he'd eat some baby worms. Also added a few dead bugs. Hoping he/she is tropical as opposed to desert. Any other advice?
