If your degree is in engineering or physics and you join the Peace Corp would you be able to find a job??

I am a person who wants mostly prestige, to help others, and a comfortable lifestyle. I don't need to be rich so I want to get my degree in physics or engineering then either A. Join the Peace Corp for the 27 months or B. Teach English abroad BUT my problem is that if I do this and come back to find a job in engineering... what are the chances? Being in the Peace Corp or teaching abroad will give me ability in a foreign language close to fluency but will this ability and teaching experience be enough to find a job?
